Delaware Storm 16u competed in their last tournament on July 17th and 18th in Wilmington Delaware.   They completed pool play as the one seed for their pool scoring 29 runs and allowing only 1 run.  On Sunday they got off to a great start with a win over Talleyville travelers 7 to 1.  In the semi-final game they faced Midway Motion who was also undefeated for the weekend.  They were able to advance to the championship game by defeating them 9 to 1.  In the championship game they faced a solid North Caroline Hot shots teams.  It was a well played game and Storm's attempt to rally at the end came up short and the Hot Shots won the game 6-4.  Congrats to Delaware Storm 16u on an excellent season.  And a special thanks to Steve Brittingham and Matt Long for leading the team.  They played a very full schedule this year and had a great season.
